Shortly after graduation I married Mike Abernathy from our senior class. We were married for 32 1/2 years when he passed away on 11/01/05. We have one son who is married to a Canadian girl and they reside there. Mike spent his life singing and preaching. He always wanted to be a help to someone. I have spent mine trying to be the best wife a guy could want and a wonderful mom.

I am glad for my days at KHS, it is where I met Mike. I favorite was choir and the productions that we did. Great fun! Pep rallys and the football games were also a wonderful time. City champs! That was our guys! They were/are the best.
